Requirements for the Private Pilot License

To begin studying for the private pilot license, you will need to submit the following documentation:

  • Class II medical certificate (performed in Argentina)
  • Mid school studies completed and apostilled
  • Register in ANAC (
  • Register in ATC Flight School

  • Private pilot theory completed
  • 40 minimum flight hours
  • Take check ride with the ANAC inspector
Requirements for the Commercial Pilot License

To begin studying for the commercial pilot license, you will need to submit the following documentation:

  • Private airplane pilot license.
  • Be 18 years old as a minimum age.
  • Have class II medical certification (CMA) to start the course, at the time of taking you must have the
  • CMA class I.
  • High school certificate.
  • Approve the requirements established in the recognized training course for commercial airplane pilots,
    referred to aeronautical knowledge.


  • 200 FLIGHT HOURS minimum, after obtaining your Airplane Pilot license.
  • Which 120 should be as a pilot in command:
  • 80 minimum flight hours on cross-country flights (As a pilot in command)
  • 30 hours of instrument flight under hood (dual command / under instruction)
  • 10 hours of night flight (dual command / under instruction)
  • The rest, up to a total of 200 hours, are carried out in local training flights (as a pilot in command)
¿To be a commercial pilot in Argentina, do I need to be a private pilot??

Yes, In Argentina to be the commercial pilot, we first have to obtain our private pilot license. All the hours that we fly as a private student pilot are validated in your country without any problem.

¿When does the private pilot course start?

The private pilot course does not have a specific start date. The course starts when you want it.

¿How long is the private pilot course?

The private pilot course lasts for a minimum of 2 month and a maximum of 2 years. The time is set by the student depending on the hours that he can fly monthly.

¿When does the commercial pilot start?

The commercial pilot license begins as soon as we surrender our private pilot license, all hours after this license count towards said license. The ground lessons does have a start date. March and August. Each course lasts 6 months from Monday to Friday, 5 hours a day.

¿How do I enroll?

¿How many planes does ATC Flight School?

ATC Flight School has 7 aircraft in flight and two reserve aircraft.

¿Do you have an accommodation service?

Yes, our apartments are all located no more than 10 blocks from the airport, this is very beneficial, you will not have to pay public transport to come to fly or study.

The services that include our accommodation:

  • Cleaning every day (optional)
  • Equipped to cook (kitchen, microwave, oven and grill)

The price is USD $300,00 per month. The accommodation is shared up to a maximum of
3 students and we do not have mixed departments, that is, men, on the one hand, women on the other.

Payment methods are cash, bank transfer or debit card.

The payment plan is personalized, that is, the price of the total of the course can be divided up to 6 payments.

It is not necessary to pay for the entire course before you start flying.
